About
Adriana Ancelmo da Silva was born and raised in Dourados, Brazil. While she has a
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, she moved into illustration after becoming
captivated by the world of children's illustrations when reading stories to her son.
She enjoys digital painting and illustration for children's books, and while mostly
self taught, she has taken several online courses and mentorships. She works on her
illustrations with Autodesk Sketchbook to the soft sound of instrumental music. She
is currently studying manual illustration techniques at EBAC-British School of Arts
and Technology. Her portfolio has illustrations inspired by childhood, family and
her little dogs, almost always trying to create a fantasy universe.
