Whispers from the Bloomlands is an immersive WebVR experience that invites users to explore a poetic and atmospheric world inspired by a fictional visual diary.
The project combines fragmented storytelling, ambient sound, hand-drawn digital illustrations, and subtle interactions to create a gentle sense of discovery.
The illustrations were created in Sketchbook Pro, the map was modeled and painted in Blender, and everything was integrated using A-Frame to run directly in web browsers.
Floating books, reactive light points, and smooth transitions were programmed to offer an intuitive and contemplative interaction.
Each diary entry can be accessed visually, with multilingual text, floating navigation buttons, page-turning sound effects, and fade-in animations that enhance the immersive experience.
This is a slow-paced journey where technology becomes a bridge between emotion and interaction.
